That Fall Feeling | Inspiration
In Ottawa where I live, Fall is a colourful and vibrant time of year.
The changing leaves contrast the sky to show off the most incredible blue. So many shades of green, yellow, orange, and red are on display. Dog walks in the morning are crisp and energizing.
This colour palette in nature is such a source of inspiration for art, fashion, and homeware. I am looking to add some cozy neutral woven pillows and fall coloured throw blankets to our home to welcome in the cooler weather. I'm also bringing out our candles and menu planning soups, stews and pasta dishes. I've been toying with the idea of creating seasonal art prints to change up decor around the house. I don't generally like to set out a lot of decor on surfaces in our home (it looks too busy for my taste and it’s more to dust!). Seasonal wall art is something l could get on board with.
Here is a collection of things I'm inspired by this season:
Pillows and Ceramics at The Yellow Studio
These Hive and Wick Candles at Anthropologie
Anine Bing Nico Handbag
More Books to Cozy up with at The Singing Pebble Bookstore or Indigo
